No Make-Up Days Needed Following Winter Weather

Sherman ISD students and staff will not need to make up the school days missed Jan. 26-30, 2026.

The district has enough state-required instructional minutes to cover the equivalent of two bad weather make-up days. 

SISD received a waiver from the state to cover the remaining three missed school days. As a result, the potential bad weather make-up day listed on the 2025-26 school calendar for April 6, 2026 will not need to be utilized.
